Having learned to play Clarinet in my teens I went on to play
Alto and Tenor Sax in a dance band and quintet, performing
at gigs mainly in Surrey. During National Service in the RAF,
I played Clarinet in the camp’s band sometimes on the march.
More recently I spent 25 years playing Clarinet in a Kentish
orchestra(and Bass Clarinet in a quartet) before returning to
Alto Sax and swing music about eight years ago.
